My story

15 years ago my relationship ended and I felt broken. I felt like everyone else was happy and enjoying life, but that happiness was just not meant for me. Some days I tried to change things around but I always found myself back at square one. I was trapped inside a cycle of wanting to change but being unable to.

It takes a lot of courage and bravery for people to share the real reason they want to lose weight as it’s a hard thing to talk about. Hopefully, hearing my journey will give you the strength to show some vulnerability and make room for the necessary changes you need to make. When you’re sad, it’s easy to just accept things the way you are and just exist, by sleep-walking through life and moving from one day to the next. That was me.

If you’re not in a good place I want you to know that you can turn things around. You just have to find the strength inside to own each day that comes your way. Owning your day means doing the things you need to do to achieve the changes you want in your life no matter how you feel. To find routine and discipline within the storm. To be accountable to yourself for the things you should be doing and the things you are not doing. I did it and so can you. I now work with my clients to turn their lives around. If you don’t like who you are, you can create somebody new.

The story behind the brand

As a personal trainer, I quickly realised that training clients in the gym was not enough to help clients lose weight. You can train all day but if your nutrition is poor then weight loss doesn’t happen. I then founded Trainergy and worked closer with clients to help them overcome their fitness and nutritional obstacles to help them become consistent with exercise and good food choices.

The Meraki Movement was founded because I realised that other areas of our lives like work, career and relationships were blocking the consistency with nutrition and fitness. As a Tony Robbins certified life coach, I help clients to lose weight by removing obstacles in both fitness and non-fitness areas. Without the roadblocks clients are able to consistently achieve results with their weight loss goal.
